Oh man. I think if I had to boil it all down, I would say it was the weight of the trip in its entirety (mistakingly letting myself think about the months ahead rather than the needs directly in front of me), the isolation (imagining being THIS alone the entire trip was exacerbated by the emptiness of the giant hostel), and the ever present fear that I am a fool simply not yet unmasked. Im writing you all the way from Guadalajara now, so the trip has continued in magnificent fashion! I hope you take on your own trip someday.
